
FREE HUMAN TRAFFICKING TRAINING FOR NGOS AND VOLUNTEERS
The British Chamber of Commerce happy to announce that we are supporting a new human trafficking training awareness initiative that will take place at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) in central Chisinau between the 16th and 27th of May 2022.

The training is financially supported by the UK charity ‘MadAid’ and will be delivered by a team of human trafficking and migration experts from the Counter Trafficking Network.
The one day training course “An Introduction to Human Trafficking” is free to attend.
The course is designed for NGOs, volunteers and those working on the front line or supporting Ukrainian refugees following entry into Moldova or who are transiting through the country.
The course is entry level aimed at those with some, little or no knowledge of human trafficking
The aim of the course is to equip participants with a basic understanding of the crime.
The course will cover a number of areas but will include:
- What is human trafficking and smuggling
- Victim identification- signs to look for&trafficking indicators
- Methodologies of human traffickers, how they operate and how to spot them
- How to talk to potential victims (human trafficking screening interview techniques)
- Signposting assistance& support
